Heirloom Seedlings
🌱 A New Season at K2 Acres🌱Our farm stand is sold out of seedlings for the Spring 2025 season and we’ve intensionally let our nursery license expire. It’s been my joy (and labor of love) to start those seeds and watch them grow, knowing they’ve brought beauty, flavor, and smiles to many garden beds. But as my wise daughter recently reminded me—you can’t do everything. And she’s right. So, after much reflection, I’ve made the decision to slim down responsibilities. Instead of starting seeds for others, I’ll be focusing on planting a different kind of seed: the seed of knowledge. This year, for the first time in a long time, I’m not starting pumpkins in trays as a last hurrah to spring. Instead I’ve used that time to prepare the garden, and the pumpkins have already been sown—directly in the soil, ready to greet our first summer class of farm school kids, who’ll be learning how to plant and care for them firsthand. The nursery business has given me so many memories, cherished connections, and lessons I’ll carry forward. Now, I’m excited to pour my time and energy into our own garden and our growing farm school, where little hands and curious minds are ready to dig in and bloom.Thank you for being part of the journey so far—and here’s to this new season of growing together. 🌼
